April was jam packed with beach outings, bondings, and dinner sessions with my balikbayan friend, Chloe. This one we really have to plan and schedule for she only have limited time here in the Philippines. Haha! Feeling artista. lol.
And one main trip that we've been really looking forward to was our 3 days and 2 nights stay at Acuatico Beach Resort at Laiya, Batangas. Chloe and I had been planning this beach outing for 6 months, with fixing each other's scheds, filing leaves beforehand, and making sure that we get a slot on our desired dates. The original plan was a Boracay trip with friends, but since it's so hard to pull it all up, a classy resort will do. :)
I can say that Acuatico Beach Resort is one of the most luxurious resorts in Batangas. Don't mind the beach, the resort itself is amaaazing! :) This is the perfect place to just relax and unwind, to free your mind with all the work and stress.
We're not that excited... by January we already got reservations for Terraza A of Acuatico. This room is good for four, located beside the Infinity Pool.
Here's a picture of Terraza A. Room with a view deck located on the Second Floor. :)
And a pic inside our room. Terraza A has two Queen sized beds.
It took us almost 3 to 4 hours drive from Manila to Laiya, Batangas. So we arrived there just in time for lunch. Acuatico doesn't allow their guests to bring food, so we have no choice but to patronize their own restaurant. Foods are a bit pricey, though it was really good! Every meal is a buffet, it costs 500 plus bucks per head but I think it's all worth it. Haha! :)
My first buffet lunch at Acuatico! Yum! :)
And a picture of us three. Too bad, Cza and Oia wasn't able to come. Oh well, they missed everything! lol.
After lunch, we went back to our room and rest a bit. It also gave us time to put tanning oil and for Chlo's other seremonyas. Haha!
We wanted to take pictures while the sun was still up! So here it was! :)
And a gapang pose with Rich and Chlo while waves are on attack. Tripod, thank you sooo much!!!
After an hour at the beach, we transferred to Acuatico's infinity pool. This place is heaven, very calm.
After the infinity pool we went back again to our room to change and prepare for dinner. :) They served kare-kare that night, delicioso!!!
And a picture with Chlo and my dessert. Hahaha! :) Chloe's a bit sleepy, can you see? :p
Day 1 was perfect! Aside from that Rich and I really hard a hard time keeping Chloe awake on our first night. Jet lag, poor Chloe. Hahaha!
Day 2. Woke up at 7AM and prepare for breakfast.
So, what's for breakfast? Buffet again! Hahaha! I love danggit!
And a view from where we're seating. Jacuzzi and floating bar.
After breakfast, we went back to our room again and change. This time we're excited to try jet skiing, it's my first time to try this one out. Nakakapagod pala siya kahit angkas ka lang. Hahaha! Rented it for like 30 minutes, it was expensive!!!! Thanks, Rich! Wahahahaha! :p
Spent the whole morning chillin'at the beach front and swimming at the infinity pool.
Little did we know that its time again to eat, lunch time! Can you see, it was more of a buhay baboy outing.. tulog, kain, swimming, kain, tulog. Haaayst. So, what's for lunch? :)
After lunch we went back to the pool and basically spent the whole day there swimming and chitchatting. It was fun, and beside we're trying to achieve that perfect tan. Hahaha!
A picture with the floating bar at night.
Infinity Pool facing the beach. Lovely!Dinner time!!!
It was a tiring day. But still, Rich has energy to pose while he picks his dessert. Hahaha!
End of Day 2. After dinner we watched Scary Tactics on AXN and the Investigation of Aliens on Nat Geo at our room. Hahaha! Weird aliens on Scary Tactics. lol.
Third and last day. Breakfast buffet.
12PM was our check out time, but since we're planning to have lunch at Tagaytay we decided to be out by 10AM. Before we leave, we took some pics from our veranda and a last shot of the resort.
Check out time! At their lobby..feeling turista! lol.
It was a long drive from Laiya to Tagaytay. It was exhausting, what more to Rich right? Haha! We arrived at Josephine's Restaurant in Tagaytay past 12pm, we're really hungry by then.
We ordered the following:
Rellenong Bangus
Grilled Spare RibsCalamares Fritos
Chicharon Bulaklak
Leche Flan, at last! :)
Super Full! It was one hell of a meal! We stayed there for like two hours and took pictures outside the restaurant.
And the magnificent view of the Taal Volcano.
It was one great trip I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thanks to Rich and Chlo, you guys are the best! Hahaha! Hope we can do this again! Yey!!! Hahaha! :D

Wow, this place is really cool. How much per night there?

Canyon cove customer service sucks! Had the worst time there! Beach is not that great either. I'd rather spend well earned vacation money on laiya side.
