Boracay 2011 - Day 1

Just a week after Acuatico Trip, Chloe and I couldn't resist going to this wonderful island of Boracay! It was really an unplanned trip, very unplanned. We went there Holy Wednesday, made bookings and reservations just days before that, and voila! Boracay invasion! Hahaha! :p

We got the 5:30 am flight to Boracay on a Wednesday, left Marikina by 3:00 am. We haven't got enough sleep by that time due to some unfortunate events that happened the night before our departure. Won't elaborate more..right, Chloe? :p

We tried to sleep during the whole duration of the flight, even caught a pic of the sunrise while on the plane. Amaaazing! :p

After an hour, saw this beautiful island of Boracay! Yey! :)

From Caticlan Airport we rode a trike going to Caticlan Jetty Port.

And from Caticlan Jetty Port, another trike ride going to the hotel. We got reservations at Zuzuni Boracay - Station 1, one of the nicest hotel in Boracay. Though it's not that grand, like any other big hotels in the island, it was just perfect for us! :)

Chlo and I were so excited to explore the island that early that we forgot we haven't taken our breakfast yet. Though we're really not that hungry. Just to let it pass, from the hotel lobby / restaurant we ordered this one big burger that we split into two and share. The burger really tastes good, no wonder Zuzuni Restaurant is known there.

After breakfast, we immediately changed clothes and hit the beach! :)

Boracay is really love. ♥

Two hours at the beach, got tired  and decided to take a nap until lunch time. Since we haven't got any sleep, we went back to our room and took a nap. Haha! Woke up just in time for lunch at 1:00 PM. It was scorching hot that afternoon! We had lunch at Paradiso Grill - Station 1. And ordered grilled chickens. :)

After lunch, craved for dessert and bought delicious crepes at Crazy Crepes located at D'Mall.

And after all the eating and strolling, we went back to the beach and took a lot of pictures! Haha! We're also aiming this perfect tan that we're trying to achieve since Acuatico. Haha! :p

At 6:00 PM. we went back to our room, took a shower and just chill. Went out again to explore and in search of Chloe's Cravings... Haha! Since Chloe is deprived from this kind of food at the states, I know that we're gonna have these for the next two days. Hahaha! :p

After all the isaws, we saw this one bar with a live band playing at Red Coconut Bar - Station 1 and decided to get a few drinks. :)

It was one great night, specially to the newly weds (wedding reception by the beach), with matching fireworks display that caught the attention of the whole island.

Saw Fire Dancers performing by the shore on our way back to our room! Haha! Where's Rachel Lobanco? lol.

I sooo love Boracay now! :p
