Last May 22, 2010, my college friends and I went to Calatagan for a quick summer getaway. We would like to thank Bevs for organizing this trip. Thanks, Bevs! Haha. :lol:
Golden Sunset Beach Resort at Calatagan, the place where all the fun happened. :-D We're 9 all in all, Bevs, Wewe, Chie, Ehj, Donna, Hans, Joy, and John including me. It was almost a 3 to 4 hours drive from Manila, we rented a van, so it was really not that stressful for us to go there. :-D
We also get the chance to visit Calatagan Church. Small Cute Church. :-)
The ambiance of the resort is more like of a typical Barrio (Fiesta) here in the Philippines, very Pinoy. Haha. There, you can see banderitas hanging on trees, bands or mosiko? roaming around the resort. And much much more. Hehe. :-D
We did enjoy taking pictures, isn't it obvious? ;-)
And now I know why it was named Golden Sunset. They have the most fantastic view of it. :-D
It was a fun Day 1. We ended it with a bonding at Octave, a private videoke room inside the resort. I must say, Ehj did shine that night! I will never forget how you (Ehj) made us all laugh. As in laugh!!! Para na kaming mamamatay kakatawa sa kung ano mang version 'yun. Lol. :lol:
Day 1 is full of quotable quotes, mostly c/o Wewe. For my friends who can remind me of some, just leave a comment. Lol. :lol:
