Isabelo - Marikina's Secret Garden

by Ruru Pilapil

For last year's Christmas get together with my High School barkada, we've decided to try this very unique restaurant in Marikina. This resto already made its name through food blogs and even lifestyle channels on TV. Its known for being a secret restaurant inside the vicinity of Marikina and most especially for its tasty and delicious food that this restaurant can offer.

Its not the usual resto that you can just walk in or drop by, you have to make a reservation before they let you in their secret garden. And your first step to reaching this place is by making an online booking.

Here's the link: http://www.isabelogarden.com/book-here.html
Confirmation will be sent through mail together with the map on how to get there. :)

Cza took care almost everything for us, from reservation to the menu. Since everybody's busy with work during that time, nobody can do it best than her. Thanks, Cza! Haha! :)

So here's our Barkada Christmas Dinner, we ordered the following:

For Appetizer, Spinach Artichoke Dip
Quoting Ms.Portia (the Chef) "Its really a must try!
For the main course:
Orange Herb Chicken served with roasted vegetables
This one is really my favorite. ♥
Roasted Pork Crackling served with 4 special sauces
This one is really pricey, which costs a thousand plus per order, but its really a must try. Its all worth it! :)
Next: Pasta
Isabelo LoKal Bolognese
Pizza
Quattro Formaggio
This one is really good especially when served hot.
Our table was full of great food that time, that we barely talk while having dinner. Haha! :)) Its such a wonderful experience, nice ambiance, great food, lifetime friends..perfect! :-)
After dinner, I took some pictures of the place.
And signed up on Chef Portia's Guestbook to send appreciation for the food that she prepared for us. :)
What a great night, it wouldn't be complete without a Barkada Pic, of course. :)
