Isdaan, Tarlac

by Ruru Pilapil

Last December 20, 2009, Jec, Kat, Hans, and I went to Isdaan Restaurant at Tarlac to celebrate Kat's birthday and for our annual exchange gift. An almost 2-3 hours drive from manila to Tarlac was all worth it. The place is so amazing, its really an escape to the busy and polluted Manila. We enjoyed taking pictures, as in. :-D

Isdaan is a floating restaurant, surrounded by big statues of Golden Buddha, fishes, monkeys, etc. It's a perfect location for us who loves to take pictures. Haha.

For Kat's birthday celeb, we ordered the following:

Food was great, we also got the chance to be serenaded by their famous kubo hopping singers. LOL :-)

Right after dinner, we exchanged gifts. Its been a tradition for the four of us to exchange gifts during Christmas. Its not the usual bunutan thing, for our version of gift giving, we are required to give gifts to each and every one of us. Yeah.

I got a nice scarf from Jec, a cute coin purse from Hans, and a cool cellphone case from Kat. Thanks, guys! ;-)

I heard that one thing that made Isdaan different from other restos is that they have this one area where you can release all your anger, tension, and frustration by throwing/smashing mugs, plates, etc. to their wall, Tacsiyapo wall. As first timers of this place, we didn't miss the opportunity to try this. It was fun, really. :-D

After Isdaan, we went to have some coffee at Starbucks - Hacienda Luisita. One of the most memorable coffee shops that I've been to. You know, past. Haha. :-)

A super fun night. :-D
