Caramoan Bed and Dine

by Ruru Pilapil

Caramoan Bed and Dine can be found just beside our rented house at Caramoan. We stayed there for 2 days and 2 nights. And on our whole stay at Caramoan, we have no choice but to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this same resto. For the simplest reason of it's the only trusted resto in that place, and let's not forget to mention that we are all tamad to cook for whatever menu that we want. And in fairness to us, the sched is jampacked, we barely have no time to prepare meal.

We ordered the following food: (For 1st and 2nd day's Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

For our 1st day at Caramoan - Lunch, we ordered Mango Shake, Beef Steak, Chopsuey, Crsipy Liempo which is so expensive, it costs P75 for 5 pcs of chopped liempo, Fried Chicken, Calamares and Bicol Express. I can say that I have tasted the real Bicol Express, this is the real one.

For our dinner, we ordered 2 orders of Crispy Pata, (we're just so tired from our first day of island hopping so we decided to give oursleves a treat by ordering Crispy Pata), Fried Chicken, Sinigang na Baboy, and the best seller and all time favorite chopsuey. They cooked the best tasting chopsuey, that's why for our whole stay and every meal that we had at Caramoan, you'll see chopsuey on our list.

For our 2nd day - breakfast. We ordered Burgers for breakfast, that we ate during our long and tiring walk going to the Groto. (Wasn't able to take pictures of it, 524 steps is not that easy. No more energy to take pictures. Haha.)

For lunch, we ordered Tapsilog, Tocilog, Hotsilog and Longsilog? Tama ba? This is for take out, knowing that we're going to be out the whole day.

And for our last meal at Caramoan - dinner, we ordered Lumpiang Shanghai, Tanigi (which by the way I'm not familiar of), Pansit Bihon, Bicol Express, and the best seller ofcourse - Chopsuey.

Food was all great. I can say that the taste of the food from this resto is at par from Dencio's Resto here in Manila. Same with the price, it's so pricey, it's like spending P150 per head in every meal, though for me it's all worth it, parang fiesta lang palagi. Haha.

The ambience of the resto is great, woods and dim lights, perfect.

I also got the chance to meet the owner, he's the most humble businessman that I have ever known. Thanks for attending all our needs, especially for letting Me and Aldwin use the 2nd floor CR for shower every night after all the island hopping adventure. Haha. :-D
