Day1 at Caramoan

by Ruru Pilapil

On our first day of our trip at Caramoan, August 29, 2009, we visited three islands. Lahus, Matukad and Hunongan island.

Right after we had lunch at Caramoan Bed and Dine, Kuya Gerry (our official Tricycle Driver) brought us to Bikal Port to meet Kuya Makoy (our official Bancero for island hopping).

Our first stop, Lahus Island.

White sand, clear water, beautiful rock formations, cool. We even saw Angelo on that same island together with his officemates. What a nice island to start with.

Second, Matukad Island

On our second stop, Matukad Island. I wasn't that impressed on how beautiful the island is, maybe because it's raining hard when we went there. We're all freezing and had no choice but to stay under the water. There's also a lagoon in this island, but unfortunately, we doesn't have that enough strength to climb that mountain going to the said lagoon.

Last island for day 1, Hunongan Island.

This is one beautiful island, I must say. Rich green mountains everywhere, white sand, clear water. Anthony also saw a big red star fish while he was snorkling. :-D

After the island hopping adventure, we immediately went back to Caramoan. We had dinner at Caramoan Bed and Dine and decided to finally call it a day. Everybody was just so tired to plan for an activity for the night. But Lau, Sam, Madelle, Aldwin and I still have the energy for a couple bottles of beer to end the night with. Cheers! ;-)

Our Day 1 at Caramoan was a blast, and we're all excited for our second day. :-D
